With Justin Bieber in full-on album recording mode, his longtime manager, Scooter Braun, has heard just what the teen star is up to and wants everyone to know that Believe is a game-changer for the singer. "Wow!! In the studio with @justinbieber and #Believe is going to be ridiculous!!!" he tweeted about the 17-year-old's 2012 release. Braun's message came the same day that Bieber announced that he's officially working on the project. "Start recording full time for #BELIEVE today. let the fun begin! #newMusic," he tweeted on Tuesday, hours later adding, "#studio."

But it seems that he'll take a break to hit up the Consumer Electronics Show, which is currently under way in Las Vegas. "Gonna see what is coming next. #gadgetNERD," he proclaimed. While Bieber has said that he wants his next release to recall Justin Timberlake's Future Sex/Love Sounds sonically, in a recent interview with V magazine, he noted that what he'll be singing is a bit more PG than the topics Timberlake covered on that album. "I'm not going to try to conform to what people want me to be or go out there and start partying, have people see me with alcohol. I want to do it at my own pace," Bieber says in the issue. "I don't want to start singing about things like sex, drugs and swearing. I'm into love, and maybe I'll get more into making love when I'm older. But I want to be someone who is respected by everybody." Bieber may not want to get too graphic on this album, but vocal producer Kuk Harrell did note to MTV News that he will be maturing on it in his own way. "The only conversation we've had about Justin's album that we're about to do is it's really important that it's the proper transition because we've seen him [with] 'Baby,' now we're watching him grow up," said Harrell, who also worked with the singer on Under the Mistletoe. "And we can't just throw him into the adult game right away. It has to be the proper transition. There's a record in between."

Are you looking forward to Justin's next album? My good friend Caprice Crane's new book, With a Little Luck, is out today. Yay, Caprice!
It's gotten great reviews:
"Crane is one of the funniest writers of popular fiction around. The dialog (inner and outer) is laugh-out-loud, snort-inducing hilarious . . . Readers will want to cross their fingers and spit while throwing salt over their shoulders if it helps Berry reach her dreams. Highly recommended."
—Library Journal
"Fans of Stacy Ballis and Cara Lockwood will appreciate Crane's effortlessly funny style, which is often attempted in popular fiction but is rarely this well executed...Lighthearted and charmingly honest."
—Booklist
"[A] satisfying romantic comedy...[with] real character growth."
—Kirkus Reviews
And even better blurbs:
"Romantic, poignant and funny—this book is a lucky find for lit fans. Caprice Crane is a nimble and gifted storyteller."
—Diablo Cody, Academy Award-winning screenwriter of Juno
"A hilarious romp that oozes charm and giddy fun. Caprice Crane is a true talent."
—Molly Jong-Fast, author of The Social Climber's Handbook
"Witty, fast-paced, and sheer fun. Caprice Crane is a master of dialogue. Half the time I was reading this book I was smiling, which made me look like a crazy person on the subway."
—Jancee Dunn, author of Don’t You Forget About Me and Why Is My Mother Getting a Tattoo?
"Absolutely charming and hilarious."
—Missy Peregrym, star of the movie Stick It and ABC's Rookie Blue
"With a Little Luck scores in humor, head, and heart. In other words, it’s a perfect trifecta."
—Karyn Bosnak, author of 20 Times a Lady (soon to be the major motion picture What's Your Number?)
(Omg, who is that last fantastic blurber?) (I meant every word of it.)
And most importantly, she has the cutest dog ever (who likes to video chat with Bev):

Anyway, check it out, buy it—it's fantastic!

She seems to be a magnet when it comes to drawing legal issues, and Lindsay Lohan can add another lawsuit to her "to do" list.
According to a new report from TMZ, the "Mean Girls" starlet has been targeted by a nanny who's seeking retribution while claiming that Lindsay crashed into her while driving a Maserati sports car.
The legal filing stems from an incident which occurred back in September of 2010, with a witness backing the allegation that the 25-year-old ran a red light in West Hollywood while then striking the woman named Nubia Del Carmen Preza as she pushed a stroller through the intersection.
Fortunately enough, the child suffered no injuries, although Miss Preza now says that she was hurt by the run-in - which is what has led her to seek unspecified damages in compensation.
As for why she waited so long to file the case, a source told TMZ, "She was in shock and Hispanic so she was scared."

Registration at Ontario bank surges after singer tweets about one fan's need for a lung transplant.

Justin Bieber is a charitable guy. So when a fan of his reached out to him on Twitter to help spread the word about organ and blood donation, one particular bank quickly saw more and more people in the giving spirit. Belieber Helene Campbell, 20, tweeted the teen star last week about her own struggles (including how she herself needs a lung transplant). Bieber then began tweeting to her and about her, shedding more light on the cause than the fan could have ever anticipated. In the days since the online correspondence, the Ontario-based Trillium Gift of Life Network has seen donations skyrocket to more than 1,200 people, four times the amount the network usually receives. In part it had a lot to do with Bieber, but also the campaign started by Campbell, who suffers from idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. "Helene has done an incredible job inspiring and motivating Ontarians to register their consent to organ and tissue donation. On an average day we would expect about 50 new online registrations," President and CEO Ronnie Gavsie said in a statement on Wednesday (January 25). "Since Helene's campaign began last Thursday, the average has been closer to 200 per day! There are over 1,500 people in Ontario waiting for a lifesaving organ transplant, on behalf of all them and Trillium Gift of Life Network, thank you Helene and thank you Justin Bieber!" Shortly after his initial tweet, she shared with him, "@justinbieber you have made a huge impact, not only on my life, but for many others in need of the gift of life now and in the future!" His response: "@alungstory glad to be able to help. best part of what i do." Bieber's other charity work includes his Believe Charity Drive as well as his participation with the Pencils of Promise foundation.

Beloved Project Runway judge Tim Gunn has always been a bit of a closed book when it comes to his personal life -- he's more of an attentive listener than a sharer. But on Tuesday's edition of his new ABC talk show The Revolution, the 58-year-old style maven opened up -- big-time -- about his love life.
